New York Giants vs. New England Patriots, Thursday Night Football Week 6. The Patriots continue to feed the record with five weeks without losing. The last victory was against the Redskins on the road. At home only three games this season without defeats. The Giants started the season losing the first two weeks, but with the new quarterback the hopes are bigger. Without Manning the team is more efficient, but the rivals are still the same is strong.
New York Giants: We can win without Manning.
The Giants started the season with Eli Manning on the bench. Good news for the team, they finally have a new quarterback. The new boy did wonders in the preseason and that was enough to bench Manning. But the first two weeks were defeats against Cowboys 35-17 and at home against the Bills 14-28. In week three and four the Giants won against Buccaneers 32-31 and at home against Redskins 24-3. Last week the team lost to the Vikings at home 10-28.
This season the Giants are scoring an average of 21.8 points per game, 23.2 rushes with 129 rush yards, 26.2 completed passes with 274.2 pass yards. Daniel Jones as starting quarterback this season. Now everyone knows that it is possible to put someone on top of the Manning dynasty. So far Jones has 64.22% with 70 completed passes, 4 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. 13 personal rushes with 78 yards for 2 touchdowns. 85.4 overall rating.
New England Patriots: Another possible home victory.
The Patriots have the best record in the division and the conference. The Chiefs lost and that makes the Patriots the new kings. At home only two games in five weeks. The first home victory was against the Steelers 33-3 and the second victory against the Jets 30-14. All other victories were on the road against Dolphins, Bills and last week against the Redskins. The record against the Giants is 5-4-0 overall since 1990. The last victory against the Giants was in 2015 on the road 27-26.
