Baylor Bears vs. Georgia Bulldogs, NCAAF Sugar Bowl. Two losers at the end of the conference are looking to win a bowl to close the season with more than a loss. But both teams had good seasons. Similar record for the two, more than ten wins and only two losses for each. The Bears, despite losing the best QB they had, went ahead and reached the final of the Big 12.

Baylor Bears: We are here.

The Bears faced a tough season with good and bad times. The overall record in the regular season was eleven wins and only two losses. The only two defeats against Oklahoma 31-34 conference rivals. In the conference final the team lost again against Oklahoma 23-30. The record in the conference was 8-2.

This season the Bears are scoring an average of 35.2 points per game, 36.6 rushes with 174.5 rush yards, 19.2 completed passes for 256.7 pass yards. John Lovett is the leader in rush yards with 100 attemps, 637 yards and 5 touchdowns. The defense allows up to 19.3 points per game, 38.8 rushes with 146.1 rush yards, 20.9 completed passes for 214.8 pass yards.

Gerry Bohanon had to replace Brewer this season. But Bohana with knee problems will start QB against the Bulldogs. For now, Bohanon’s numbers are few since they only played for a few minutes of each game: 47.2% for 17 completed passes, 187 yards, 2 touchdowns without interceptions, 109.2 overall rating.

Georgia Bulldogs: We are favorites.

The Bulldogs tonight have an advantage over the Bears. The advantage is that Jake Fromm (QB) is healthy and ready to play the last game of the season. The team closed the regular season with 11-2 overall. The title for the conference was a defeat against LSU 10-37. The season was good, but with the SEC title it would have been better.

The team is scoring an average of 31.2 points per game, 36.3 rushes with 194.1 rush yards, 18.5 completed passes for 224.9 pass yards. The defense allows up to 12.5 points with 28.8 rushes for 78.4 rush yards, 19.8 completed passes and 202.5 pass yards. D’Andre Swift RB with 1216 yards and 7 touchdowns.

Jake Fromm is almost recovered from an ankle injury. This season 60.3% for 214 completed passes, 2610 yards, 22 touchdowns and 5 interceptions, 35 personal rushes without touchdowns. Against LSU in the conference final, Fromm threw his fifth game of the season with 20 completed passes, 225 yards, 1 touchdown but with two interceptions that were fatal.
