However, it seems that they are one step behind as they lost the game against Houston on Wednesday with a score of 2-0. The Angels have averaged 4.12 runs per game and have allowed 4.96 runs per game here at home for the season.
On the offensive side of the game, the Angels have a very good stats as they are placed on the 6th spot in the league in scoring, putting up an average of 4.93 runs per game, while also ranking 8th in hitting at .258 and 2nd in homers with a total of 58. On the mound, their stats are average as they are placed on the 11th spot in the league in ERA at 3.82, while also ranking 17th in WHIP at 1.31 and 7th in K’s with 394.
The Rays were the better team last year as they won four of the seven games against the Halos. However, this season the Rays are a weak offensive team and I just can’t see them scoring enough runs to win this game. On the other side, the Angels are in the fight for the top spot in their division and will aim to get something of this game. Their offence is also very good and I expect them to win this game.
