Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Cleveland Cavaliers, the home team is looking for a win at home after the last loss on Saturday against the Nuggets. The Thunder have a good record so far, they started the season badly, but they have been recovering as the days go by and the work has improved during each game. The Cavaliers continue to suffer this season without LeBron James and now with a new coach who does not know how to repair the team.
Oklahoma City Thunder: At home the record is strong.
The Thunder record is 12-7 overall, 4-2 in the last six games and 7-3 at home this season. Things have improved with some modifications in the game, but the team is still dependent on Russell Westbrook. Reporters talk about OKC this season with a playoff spot, but the road is very long, and they should still improve the record on the road. During the season, the Thunder hopes to reinforce the roster with new talents during the draft and transfers.
Russell Westbrook this season is still the best point guard, but for now he is not the top scorer in the team, only 23.2 points per game, 9.5 rebounds, 62% free throws and 45.9% FG. The Thunder is scoring 113.3 per game, 45.8% FG, 69.9% Free throw, and just 10 three points per game. 7-1 in the last eight home games this season.
Cleveland Cavaliers: The disaster continues.
The Cavaliers could not do anything against the Lakers in one of our last NBA predictions for this season. Actually the Lakers suffered slightly against the Cavs, but LeBron James already knows very well how is the game of the Cavs. That prediction was a defeat by the point spread. 4-15 overall for the Cavs this season, 2-4 in the last six, and only one win in nine games on the road. With the new head coach the Cavaliers have not yet found improvements and probably continue to lose this season.
The offensive on the road is poor, only 104.4 points per game, 46.1% FG, 75.6% free throw, 8.22 three pointers per game and only 19.11 assists per game. The worst side of the Cavs is defensive, the team is allowing up to 114.2 per game this season on the road, 6-3-0 in the ATS, 2-2 in the last four ATS games.
