Philadelphia 76ers vs. Indiana Pacers, second game of the season against the Pacers, now in Philadelphia with the advantage of having won the first game on the road. The 76ers at home are almost invincible, only two defeats so far. The season has been solid for the 76ers playing at home, most of the record victories this season come from victories at home. The Pacers have a good defensive on the road, they have been able to maintain a slightly positive record on the road, but the 76ers’ offense is lethal at home.
Philadelphia 76ers: Power at home.
The 76ers at home have a record of 14 wins and only two losses, the only two losses were against the Cavaliers 112-121 in November, and the last loss was two days ago against the Brooklyn Nets 124-127. That was the last home game for the 76ers. At the beginning of the season the team made a winning streak of 10 consecutive games at home, they were relatively easy games against teams that have not had a good season.
The last game against the Pacers was last month, the victory was six points for the 76ers 100-94, but the Pacers defense was intense at home.
Jimmy Butler will not be available for this game (groin injury), but the 76ers are still offensively powerful without Butler. Embiid continues to lead the team with 26.5 points. The 76ers at home are averaging up to 117.1 points per game, almost 30 points per quarters and 78.1% in free throws.
Indiana Pacers: Strong defense.
The Pacers barely have a positive record on the road this season, 8-6 does not seem to be a good record but the defense has done a phenomenal job against teams like Spurs, Knicks, Bulls, Heat and a few days ago against Orlando Magic for the last victory 112-90 on the road for the Pacers. 3-4 in the last seven games on the road, the Pacers lost against Kings, Lakers, Hornets and Rockets.
The Pacers are not a team with the best players, but defensively they are strong. The team only allows 104.9 points on the road. Victor Oladipo leads the team with 20.9 points per game, Bogdanovic with 16.6 points, Young 11.1, Collison with 9.3 and Turner with 12.4 points. The weak point of the Pacers is the defense of the three pointers, since the team allows up to 11.43 3s per game.
