Buffalo Bulls vs. Northern Illinois Huskies, MAC Conference final, the favorites are obviously the Bulls, the team has been more solid in the season with more victories and just one defeat in the conference. The Bills comfortably won the East Division despite losing only two weeks of the season. The Huskies have serious problems, the last two games were defeats, the team is not favorite to win this game despite not suffering so much to win the West Division of the MAC.

The Bulls can win this game easily, in fact both defenses are good, but the Bulls are confident they have won against the best defenses of the MAC this season. The only two losses this season were against OHIO 52-17 two weeks ago and in the fifth week against ARMY 42-13.
The problem of the Bulls is the historic record against the Huskies, until now 0-10-0 against Northern Illinois since 1999, last year the game at home against the Huskies ended 13-14 in the seventh week.
Tyree Jackson with 55.5% of completed passes, 2605 yards, 25 touchdowns and only 11 interceptions has been the star QB to get this far this season. The Bulls are scoring an average of 35.2 points per game, 42 rushes, 29.1 passes, 16 complete passes, 1.3 touchdowns per game. The defense only allows up to 24.2 points.
Norther Illinois Huskies: Another good season.
The Huskies have not done a bad job this season, winning the title in the division, 6-2 in the conference and 7-5 overrall. The first four weeks finished 1-3 and that showed the weakness that the Huskies had on the defense, a weakness that was repaired and they did a six week winning streak, but then again they lost the last two weeks before this game against Miami Ohio and Western Michigan and the defense again showed its weakest point.
Marcus Childers has not been as effective this year as expected, 57.0% in completed passes, but only 11 touchdowns with 9 interceptions. Few yards, only 1696 throughout the season. Childers has been saved by the defense, but the offense has been very weak with Childers in command, only 19.9 points per game. The defense only allows 20.9 per game.
