Vanderbilt Commodores vs. Florida Gators, game of the Southeastern Conference, two teams of the EAST division play early at noon, the visitors are better positioned in the division with a single defeat with three victories, everything has been positive for the Gators these first six weeks. The home team has won almost all the games at home, but they lost other important games and the record is not positive, but neither negative.

Florida Gators: We have the staff to win.

The Gators this season won the first game of the season against Charleston 53-6 at home, it was an easy game and the team scored many points to show their power at the start of the season. The second week was a conference game, at home against Kentucky Wildcats, the team won the first half by only three points, but lost the game by 11 points 16-27. After that game the other 4 weeks were victories, mostly at home, and 2 on the road, a difficult game against Misissippi State Bulldgos 13-6.

Against the Commodores, the Gators won all the games since 2014 (four games), the Gators have always been superior in offense and defensive against Vanderbilt. Last year they won in the fifth week 24-38 against them.

Feleipe Franks will be starting quarterback tonight for the Gators, with a somewhat low ERA of 54.9% overrall. Franks had his best game against the Bulldogs with 71% effectiveness, 22-31 passes but no touchdown passes. This season 13 passes to touchdown and 4 interceptions.

Vanderbilt Commodores: Our house is weak.

The Commodores have a record of 3 wins and 3 losses this season, with no wins in the conference with two losses against Comecocks 37-14 at home and against the Bulldogs 41-13 on the road. At home the team has won three of four games, but most of the games have been against teams with little efficiency in offense and with poor defense. The Gators with # 14 in the nation, and the Commodores already lost against a # 2 (bulldogs).

Kyle Shurmur has slightly better numbers than Franks with 60.4% in effectiveness, his best game was against Tennessee State with 75.9% for 22-29 in completed passes. But Schurmur suffers with a more powerful defense since this season only has 9 passes to touchdown and 4 interceptions.
