The last home win was last week against the Giants 25-22, but earlier in the week they had lost to the Cowboys 20-27 at home. The record in the last four weeks is 2-2 for the Eagles.
Against the Redskins last year they won two games, in the week one 30-17 on the road and in the seventh week at home 34-24. Without Alex Smith the chances of winning increase, since Colt McCoy is not as effective as the veteran.
Carson Wentz is certainly not the same player compared to last year. Until now 4-5-0 after missing two weeks for an injury, so far 16 touchdowns and only 6 Interceptions. 69.70% of completed passes and 29 sacks this year. Last week against the Giants at home Wentz pitched for 71.43% 20-28 with just one TD but no INT.
Washington Redskins: Luck can change.
The Redskins in this game expect only one thing, to hurt the Eagles in the first two quarters. The Redskins defense is allowing 20.8 per game, but the offense is just scoring 20 points per game, the strategy will be to block Wentz’s game in the first half. The Eagles score up to 13.5 points in the second half, while only allowing up to 9 points at home in the second half.
Colt McCoy has no victories this season, his last was against Dallas Cowboys 23-31 on the road, before he had played a part of the game against the Texans but not as starting QB, that game was also a defeat for the Redskins. So far 1 TD, 3 INT and 60% in passes completed for McCoy.
